Upgrade Procedure 1.Press “menu” button on remote control and select “installation 2.Go to “factory reset” and press “ok”. 3.Enter “access code”, default is “1234”. 4.Select and press “ok”, wait for the Philippine Multi-Media System, Inc. Logo. 5.The “first installation” prompt will appear, press “ok”. 6.Under “equipment” menu, select “none” and press “ok”. 7.Under “channel search menu”, select “manual” by pressing “green button” on the remote control. 8.Select “Add TP” by pressing the “blue button” on the remote control. 9.Select row of added TP (with check) and go to “freq” column, press “ok” to edit frequency. 10.Enter new frequency “12390” and press “ok”. 11.Go to “S/R” column, press “ok” to edit symbol rate. Enter symbol rate “25600” and press “ok”. 12.Go to “pol” column, press “ok” to edit polarity to “v” (vertical). 13.Repeat steps 8-12 but enter the frequency “12430” in step 10. 14.Repeat steps 8-12 but enter the frequency “12470” in step 10. 15.Press “exit” on remote. Select “network” by pressing “yellow button” on the remote control. 16.Unit will perform “channel scan”, after completion press “exit”. 17.A “warning” prompt will appear, press “ok” to save. 18.Press “exit” to view channels.

AUTOMATIC SOFTWARE UPGRADING 1.Turn unit "off" and then "on" using the switch at the back or by un-plugging the AC cord from the outlet. 2.The unit will reboot repeatedly and a message "Err: PMT PID in PAT" will appear. Just ignore and wait for the unit to boot until "Upgrade Menu" appears. 3.Wait until the status bar indicating progress of Software Download under "Data Receiving" has completed. Please do not turn-off the unit while it is downloading. 4.The messages "Download Complete" and "Installation Successful" will appear in sequence. 5.The unit will automatically "reboot", software upgrading is complete. CHECK SOFTWARE VERSION 1.Press "menu" button on remote control, select "status" and press "ok". 2.Press "information", SW Version should be "SW 1.06". (Note: In case of power interruption, just repeat the process for upgrading)

EXISTING SUBSCRIBERS (Member-Get-Member) 1.Promo is open to all CURRENT ACTIVE DREAM subscribers. 2.Dream active subscriber will receive a call from our DreamCare Specialists. Alternatively, current subscribers who call the DreamCare Hotlines to inquire about the promo will receive a fax Member-Get-Member numbered form. 3.Active subscribers who visit the nearest DREAM business offices and accredited dealers must fill-out a numbered referral form and refer at least one (1) relative or friend. 4. Referror subscriber will just have to continue re-loading Php390.00 per month for 12 months, but will be able to enjoy access to Dream Star 650 with 36 channels. 6.Any valid referral of a subscriber with Dream Star 650 subscription will enjoy FREE 5 months of Dream Star 650 subscription. Promo period runs from November 9 to December 31, 2009. Note: Numbered referral forms will be available at all Dream Satellite TV’s Business Offices and accredited dealers nationwide. Terms & Conditions: 1.Referrors under Dream Star 650 plan shall be given the FREE 5 months load on an alternate basis to be given every other month (e.g. if you load up your account in January you will get your FREE month in February). 2.Re-loading will have to be done every 50 days. Failure to load during the prescribed 50-day period will revoke a subscriber’s entitlement to the FREE 5 months incentive. 3.Upon revocation of the FREE 5 months load, regular monthly loading of Php650.00 shall be required.
